Former NBA star Kobe Bryant among 9 killed in helicopter
crash
On January 26, the former Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant was killed in a
helicopter crash in Calabasas along with his 13 year old daughter Gianna.
Seven other people were killed in the crash. Their was fog in the area at the
time of the crash, but a cause has yet to be determined. The National
Transportation Safety Board will be investigating to determine the cause which
could take some time. Bryant retired from the Lakers in 2016 after 20 seasons.
He finished his career 33,643 points, 7,047 rebounds and 6,306 assists. He is
survived by his wife Vanessa and three daughters.
