Palomar College president Joi Lin Blake resigns

After being placed on administrative leave on December 17 by the Palomar
College governing board, Joi Lin Blake has resigned her position as president.
She was placed on paid administrative leave on December 17 after a vote by
the governing board, pending an unknown investigation. On Tuesday, the board
approved her resignation effective June 30. Interim President Jack Kahn who
has held that position since Blake was put on administrative leave, will oversee
day to day operations of Palomar College. Kahn has worked at Palomar
College since July 2013 and has a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from State
University of New York at Buffalo.
