The Braves are headed to the World Series after defeating the Los Angeles
Dodgers in Game 7 of the National League Championship Series on Saturday
night.
In a 4 to 2 finish, the Braves put on a performance to show why they deserve
to be in the World Series. They return to the World Series for the first time
since 1999 against the Houston Astros.
Braves took the early 1 - 0 lead in the bottom of the 1st inning with a double
from Austin Riley that scored Ozzie Albies. The Dodgers tied it up in the top of
the 4th with a single by Cody Bellinger. In the bottom of the 4th, the Braves
took control of the game with a three run home run from Eddie Rosario.
Four pitchers hit the mound for the Braves during this game. The Braves finished
the night with nine hits (Rosario and Riley both with 2).
Game 1 of the World Series is scheduled for Tuesday night in Houston with Game 3
scheduled at Truist Park on Friday night.
