26 people were discovered by Houston Police Thursday night in what they are calling a
human smuggling operation. The discovery was made after HPD received a report of a
male in his briefs running down the street yelling that he had been kidnapped.
Officers quickly responded and rescued approximately 25 males and 1 female
from the house at 4851 Raven Ridge in Southwest Houston. The location is just a
few hundred feet from Ridgemont Elementary School.
The smuggling victims were taken to Ridgemont Elementary School so they could
get out of the cold. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has taking over
this scene.
