A 15 year old boy is in custody, charged with murder after home surveillance showed him
beating his mother to death inside their home in the 700 block of Donelson Drive.
The McKinney Police Department were called out to the home early this morning by the
boy's father around 1:00 A.M.
The victim has been identifed as Stacy Ellen Barney, 50.
The boy briefly left the scene but police were able to locate him in the area. This
case remains under investigation, no motive has been determined.
