Texas State University Football Player Shot And Killed

A Texas State University football player was shot and killed during a apparent drug deal gone
bad at around 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday night. Sophomore defensive back Khambrail Winters was
trying to buy marijuana at The Lodge Apartments when something went totally wrong.
Police found Winters with a gunshot wound to the chest. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful
and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police, Michael Ifeanacho and Enalisa Blackman were with Winters at the time of the
shooting. They have both been charged with Capital Murder by Terror Threat and currently being
held at the Hays County Jail. Police are seeking two others who might have been invloved in the
actually shooting of Winters.

No other arrest have been at this time as police continue their investigation.
