Last night, Jonathan Price (30) of Wolfe City was shot and killed by a Wolfe City police officer at Kwik
Chek. Friends and family members of Price, said he was trying to intervene in a domestic violence situation.
Civil rights attorney Lee Merritt posted on Facebook about Price's death. He stated that he had spoken to Price's family.
Wolfe City Police Chief Matthew Martin has requested the assisance of the Texas Rangers, who will be
investigating this officer involved shooting.
April states "I've known him for years, He was an extremely nice guy. Always looking for the next
big move to make business wise, and cared about others. Always smiling and good company.
They won't find any dirt on him no matter how hard they try".

Price was the owner of Repetitive Reps, LLC, a online personal training business. He graduated from
Wolfe City High School where he played football, he later attended both Sam Houston State University
and Hardin-Simmons University.
